microsoft publisher printing

i am trying to print a publisher custom banner spread over 3 sheets of a4 paper with text and a background colour.In  print preview everything seems fine,but when the banner prints the background is only printed on the second sheet even tho' the text is printed ok.My printer is an Epson 810.Any solutions to this problem would be appreciated.Thankyou in advance
