when i boot up my computer i get a message which says      itouch---this programme has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down,any idea what this means?

Mine does this from time to time. I have no idea why. iTouch as the software for Logitech Keyboards and Mice. I would suggest that you go to Logitech.com and download the software again or use the setup disk that came with your keyboard.
