how long should a Malwarebytes full scan take?

i´ve tried twice, without sucess, 1st time after 1 1/2 hour it was still scanning, had to stop it, 2nd time, left it for 4 hours, it stopped automatically, and so nothing was scanned.

A full scan can take hours. If it stopped automatically, it has finished scanning.

my 200GB hdd which has about 75GB in use took just under 2 hours yesterday

hi sq bear, i´m scanning now, and its been scanning for 1 hr 20mins so far.

Yes. Last time I did a full scan it took about 3 hours.

it should be displaying the files that it is examining, and as long as that display keeps changing then you should be ok

Hi all, it finally took me 2 1/2 hours to complete the full scan.
Now how often should use malwarebytes, should it be weekly or what?

Mine took 25mins for a fast scan earlier this eve.
