Can I wirelessly connect two laptops to my DG834G router to access different websites at the same time.
Any answers will help me to decide whether or not to get my wife, with all the financial risks that it may entail, her own computer.

You will be fine as long as you don't decide to get more than 254 computers!

Yes, both computers will connect wirelessly, your internet connection will then be shared between the two computers. Most wireless routers allow simultaneous connection of mutiple devices.
