Have you guys seen the tickets for TakeThat on Ebay, the prices people bid are ridiculous, so that means average Joe loses out cos he can't afford the tickets greedily taken by profiteers. Doesn't Ebay have some kind of policy against this?
Don`t get me started on Ebay. I lobbied my mp to change the law to that of the USA where it is illegal to charge more than face value for a ticket. These touts make me sick. They deprive real fans of the chance to see their favourite band and within the hour are selling their gains on Ebay for 4 times the price.
I was disappointed when I couldn't get tickets for The Script when they went on sale, an hour after they all sold out there were people on Ebay selling them for €200+
which is disgraceful considering the cost of a ticket originally was €33.60 or something like that.
My dad managed to get me tickets but not for 200 yoyos
like anything a ticket is only worth as much as some one is willing to pay for it, it is not the touts fault, it is the people that use them that's to blame
My son has been on line for hours this morning trying to get 4 tickets for Take That at B'ham. He couldn't believe they were already being offered at 5 times the market value on eBay and he hadn't even got through! Luckily the other friend was also trying and eventually managed to purchase 4 tickets because they wanted to go and see them...NOT profiteer!
the only way I'm likely to get a pair is to wait until days before. There's usually people who cant make it for a genuine reason and will sell at a fair price. However, even the chances of snapping those up are minimal.
Oh the pitfalls of living on an over-subscribed island :-/
I took my dughter the first time round Cazzz, we were 6 rows from the stage and I still couldn't hear them for all the screaming. It was a nightmare, I had a headache for days !
