PC connection problem
5 Answers
My 'new' PC is fine whilst i'm using it but everytime i leave it it disconnects from the internet, i've had it 3 weeks. My old PC was on and connected 24/7. Is it something that i can fix, i'm a bit of a amateur so i would need an idiots guide to fixing the problem. Thanks very much in advance, don't know what i'd do without AnswerBank, its blooming marvelous.

sorry for being so vague (stupid), I have Orange broadband and Windows XP. As i said previously, nothing has changed as far as modem, server etc concerned, only change of PC, there wasn't a problem with the old PC, it was left on and connected 24/7 and I rarely had to connect it.. I did try fender62's suggestion but everything was as it should be, help!
