I've just removed a CD RW from my PC and installed a DVD RW in it's place. I've just rebooted my PC and it can't find the D or E drives which is where the DVD ROM (which I've kept) and the CD RW used to be. Can anyone help me please??

try making sure the switches at the back of the DVD RW are set up for Cable Select using the switches at the back by the IDE cable (or as master or slave depending how you have configured the IDE chain)

Thanks Rabelais. I had both devices set to master, should have had the DVD RW set to slave. Thanks again!
