Whats happened to Internet explorer then ?

Recently I E has let me down. I can access all websites and use banking and mail ordering etc but when it comes to emailing on Hotmail theres a little surprise. -- You can only RECEIVE hotmail but dont you dare reply on it or the whole thing freezes up for about five minutes. A pc friend told me to try emailing out on Google Chrome as an IE replacement but this has a not so nice interface and cannot send attachments. Does anyone know whats wrong here and how I can get back to normal with Explorer !

Try looking at the plugins you have installed in your browser.
It's not a fault with IE .. it's usually a user problem.
Tools/Internet Options/Programs/Addons Disable or remove anything you don't use.
Clean out cache and all temp files/folders.
Use CCleaner or something like that.
