I have replaced the black ink cartridge in mydellAIO

A920,I notice that the gauge that indicates the amount of ink left has gone to the full position on both colour and black cartridges. Do I need to reset something?

Unless i'm mistaken, I dont believe the gauge confirms how much ink is actually in the cartridge, it shows you how much it estimates should be in there - therefore if you remove a half empty cartridge and re-insert it, the gauge will believe its a new one and revert to the full position- same thing happened on my fathers computer on the weekend.
