Hi, I have a Syntek DV2004 video camera (I know, I know but it's good enough for me!) and I can't find the disc. Does anyone have any idea where I can get a driver for it? TIA for any help.

Tried that one & got nowhere - probably because I need simple English.
What was on the disc? Do you need a driver for a digi-cam?

Naz, I have no idea what was on the disc - I haven't seen it in 4 years. But it keeps coming up as new hardware & the install wizard won't let me near it without the disc. I should explain that my PC died earlier this year & I had to get a new onewhich is why the camera ins't being recognised.
I'm thinking blind, as I don't have a video cam,

If you plug it in, ignore the installation wizard, then look at 'Computer', does it show as a storage device, as a camera would?

If so, can't you open that 'device' and drag the video files from vid-cam to computer?

... as I say, I'm guessing.

Naz, it doesn't recognise the camera at all. Thanks for the guess, though, it was worth a try.
