I am thinking of upgrading Vista home edition to Windows 7 ultimate edition. Is it possible to download 7 without losing any of the programmes i downloaded of the internet, as i do not have the software for them and cannot download them on to a hard drive.

You need something like PC Mover for 7 (Serif) which should retain programs.

Can I ask why you wish to upgrade? Are you having trouble with anything?

You will need to buy an upgrade disc for this and an upgrade key to go from home premium to ultimate version.
