Dell Inspiron mini 1011... battery & warranty...?

i have the above notebook and would like to know if the battery is covered on the 1years warranty my product should have?.... will have had it a year in mid feb 2011. bought it from Currys incase this makes a difference!

But batteries are considered a consumable item and a reduction in capacity over time is to be expected and would be classed as fair ware and tear, so unless there is a obvious manufacturing fault or the capacity has reduced to such a level it would be considered unreasonable for the age they will not replace it under warranty.
Check Ebay for replacements as they are not much.
