You could copy the address in a Word page, press Ctrl & left click to open. Or put it in your browser Bookmarks - but not top of the list as you'll never escape.
No need to go to all that trouble, jaydah; you can simply drag the logo that appears in the address bar to you desktop. That will work in both Firefox and Internet Explorer
Confused as usual: How do I do as rojash suggests if when I switch on my PC there is no address bar showing to drag and drop until I engage AB? Sorry if I`m not up to it yet.
I can't understand why Iv'e just tried right clicking anywhere on a blank part of the page, a box appears and one of the choices is "Create Shortcut" simples.
(in IE that is)
I think maybe the problem is not minimizing the page first,so you have both the page and the desktop showing.I have managed to do it this way and I am a dunce at computers!
Good luck
