Afternoon everyone,

I'd just like to ask our regular tech-guru's what questions they find themselves answering the most?

While we know you're willing to help (why else would you be here!) I thought we could put together an FAQ for you with a handy (easy to remember url) which can be passed around by everyone (not just those who know their stuff).

For those who are not wise on this subject, this might be an opportunity to say thanks to the helpful souls who get us through out technical woes day to day.

I'll start: Thanks!

Are you having fun Naz :-)
I am having so much fun I'm almost impressing myself. :-))
"Why is my screen blue?"

or, more importantly to me, "why do my posts sometimes slide under the adverts on the right of the screen?"
what's a TL DR version? and why can't you just say 'shorter'?
It is popular tech speak for "too long;didn't read".
Too long, didn't read.
"Any more Tech questions which give you the feeling of de ja vu every time you see them?"

The ''Bad Request (Request Header Too Long)" one, but I haven't seen it lately.
Excuse me if I repeat earlier suggestions....

1) my browsers text has changed size
2) How do I setup/find out the access key for my wireless.
3)Is x.y plus z sufficient security for my computer.
4) my computer is running slow.
5) My (insert hardware) isn't working, where can a get drivers or manuals
6) my hard drive is running out of space, what can I do
7) what's the difference between a laptop/notebook/netbook
8) my new computer is asking for a license key for x bit of software, where do I find the key..

errr.....

More will come to me I'm sure :)
I can safely say I don't know the answer to any of Chuck's questions except the first, so I've no doubt I'll be asking them all sooner or later.
