What's the name of the plug you need to connect amp unit to computer Line In? Is there good 'cleaning up' software for cheap?

ps cd unit has optical link to amp, and amp has 3 digital out ports, two of them marked dat and dbs. also aux out (red and white)

to conect to your pc u need to connect the aux of the cd player straight to the pc sound card. the aux out should be two RCA soccets that look a bit like TV antenna socket you will need a RCA to headphone jack cable

cannot remember correct name but its a Y shaped cable 2 connectors on one end (for amp) one connector on other end (for computer)

just enter "vinyl to cd" in search engine and you will be led to sites that give all details plus free download progs (such as cd wave editor or gold wave) to allow you to burn cds from vinyl

I use a programme called Magix Audio cleaning lab, I believe you can now get this for something like �9.99 at certain high street electrical retailers and it includes the leads that you need.Ive found it really good for vinyl /cassette to CD.
