Connecting up a VCR

I'm asking this question for a lovely old lady who has a collection of videos and a VCR which requires connecting to the TV. She knows this is almost stone-age stuff now but she feels comfortable with it. So her question is :

What leads do I need to connect up a VCR to a TV operating from a Sky dish and where do the various connections go ?

If answers could be as simple as possible,please; poor old soul.

well it will really depend on what connections the TV and VCR have.
My MILs is connected via scart leads.
