VLC not connecting with utorrent

I use VLC to watch my downloaded programes, but now when I try to open it up with Corrie or something, it just does not play. I've uninstalled it and re-installed it but still not joy. What else can I do, thank you.

Well, your question is sitting here with nobody to answer it, so I feel that I ought to contribute something.

However, since you've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I'm at a bit of a loss. All I can suggest is that you try an alternative media player. VLC is the best-known decent free media player but there's an alternative free player which is at least as good:

All sorted now, just fiddled a bit with configurations on vlc and all ok, many thanks for help chris x
