can anyone help hubby just had i phone 4 but when someone phones him you can hardly hear the person calling its really feint , the volume is up on the phone and when it rings its very loud ?

the ring volume is separate from the speaker volume its on the side

thanks for answers guys it was something so stupid im ashamed to say lol he had kept the clear film on to protect phone as soon as he took it off bingo sound
