I know you can block people altogether and set general settings as to who can see what and specify by individual posting but can you set privacy so a specific person(s) cannot see anything you post without removing them as a friend/blocking them?
Basically to stop them seeing what you post for a certain period.

I don't think you can be as specific in what certain friends see without deleting them.
You just do what I've done before. Delete someone and then if they ask why just say, "oh, I didn't realise you had gone, it's happened to a few times" and add them again.

Thanks Millie, it's kind of delicate, not sure I want to delete them but don't really want them to see things I may post at the moment (nothing nasty or targeted at them as such). It's just all a bit crap and not quite sure what to do save just not posting which is crap when you're as addicted to FB as I am and I could really do with the distraction.
I'm pathetically addicted. I tend to have it on all day in the background at work, and I'm on it now whilst im on the laptop.
I kind of try to refrain a bit from putting stuff that's personal up there really. My statuses are all quite dull but I do like reading other people's. Everyone elses lifes seem so much more interesting than mine :o)
Looks like Chuck has found an answer for you.

Ah, missed the last couple of posts before mine. Thanks Chuck, will check that out :)
I just don't want to make a tricky situation worse, nothing sinister. Basically not wanting to cut something off while feelings quite up in the air, trying to think bigger picture.
Will they know they have been stopped seeing anything I post or will it just look like I've not posted?
There is a good reason behind this!

I tend to just witter really and chat away to people as I'm sure Ummm and Chuck can tesify haha :)
I use it as I get enjoyment for it and, as I see it, people can delete me or hide me or whatever if they think I post too much, doesn't bother me.
I had someone say I should stop posting so often but I don't see why I should, just because we use it in different ways, they can hide me or delete me, I don't mind, but won't be told how I should use it when I'm not causing any offence to anyone.
If it was the case that they couldn't control what they see I'd not want to make a nuisance of myself but they have a choice. Apps postings clutter up my newsfeed so I just hide them, simple really.
