Still cant get that cd rom to work!!

any suggestions please, apart from cleaning the disc

most issues are down to dirt/dust,unless the CD drive is being used on regular basis.
We have 10 works PCs and not one drive works due to the dusty/dirty enviroment here, we end up using an external drive.

hi chas, its a little strange really, because it has worked a couple of times recently, but in the last few days it keeps crashing!! to the effect that i have reboot my pc every time i try to open it!!
will try cleaning it again
