Usually my husband sorts this sort of thing out (but he's a bit preoccupied at the moment). Had my iPad since Christmas and it has just occured to me that there isn't any sort of virus zapper on it. What should I do (and how do I do it) or is it ok as it is? Thanks (ps - complete idiot at this sort of thing so just assume I know sod all).

There are no viruses on iOS devices. It's difficult to see how any would be deployed unless the device is altered to run in a non-standard mode (jailbroken). There is nothing you need to do now
Agree.

Viruses and virus protection is pretty much a windows thing due to a combination of people not writing viruses for anything else, better built in protection on every other OS and only well controlled, installable, apps on IOS (and to a degree android) devices.
And I should say that MS have been trying to sort out the biggest security problem with windows for years, and yet the users still insist on running with an administrator account and turn UAC off!
