I have an ASUS computer wich is new this year. I have also Windows 7 on it, I find that every thing is very good when using except on shutting down it takes over 4 miutes to close.I presume this will have something to do with software being closed, but I have tried shutting down the cumputer imediatly after booting up.
No.1 Is this any thing to worry about?

No. 2 If so is there anything I can do about it?

You will find this is usually a hardware driver issue. They hang when trying to shutdown PC/Laptop.
Graphics, Audio Card and Network drivers are famous for giving this sort of problem. Check for updates on those devices before you do anything else.
