From I Tunes to Mobile

How do i transfer a song from I Tunes onto my mobile as a ringtone. I have a mac, please treat me as a complete novice as i am computer illiterate so step by step instructions would be ideal. I thank anyone in advance that can help.

Oh how iv tried to do it but it wont. I get as far as bluetoothing it onto my phone and then it says "File format not accepted". What a shame. Thankyou so much for all your help and if everyone was as helpful as you, this world would be a better place

Did you try transferring it using Bluetooth Exchange on your mac?

What is Bluetooth exchange Milvus

It's a programme you have on your mac that helps move files between devices using bluetooth. Go to Applications/Utilities/Bluetooth File Exchange. First pair your Nokia withy your Mac, then start Bluetooth File Exchange, choose your dialtone track and press send. It should then put the track on the Nokia. From there use your Nokia instructions to add it to your ringtone set. Worth a final try.

Milus, i was talking to a colleague at work and he told me to bring in the mac and phone which i did on friday. It took him all of 3 minutes to do. I now have my ringtone, unfortunately, it has only rang twice since, so iv not heard it much (im telling everyone to ring me so i can listen to the tune that has had us both tormented). I just want to tell you again how much i have appreciated what you have done for me and once again, if everyone was as considerate as you, this world would be a better place to live. Cheers, Rosiew
