I have found an unfinalised DVD-R in my collection which I think was burnt on a previous DVD Recorder, it is not being recognised by my present DVD Rec (Panasonic DMR EZ28B).It will play on Win media on my P/C but I can't see any way of copying or re burning it, does any A/Ber have any suggestions with this problem ? If you can drag (or copy/paste) the files from the DVD onto your computer, then burn them onto a new blank DVD, that would work.

Secondly, your player does accept DVD-R, right? Some only read certain types of DVD.
If you are using Patin-Couffin driver, you can just finalize whenever you like. Otherwise reburn.
