I wanted to move all my itunes music off the c: drive and save it on an external one. Changed the address etc, but iTunes insists on copying it back to C: what am I doing wrong? Thanks

Have you added a new library to itunes? In itunes, preferences there is itunes media location, also there is file, add to library to add files from the new location.

In iTunes go to Edit>Preferences>Advanced tab. Change your folder location to the location you want, then untick Copy Files to iTunes Media Folder.
