I have just changed (with difficulty) the black cartlidge on my printer but it is not printing and the red light is still showing. The instructions with the printer are rubbish. All the four cartilidges seem to be in place ok - would be very grateful for any ideas - thank you

If you inhstall the Epson software that comes with the printer it should give you step by step instructions in a small window showing you exactly what to do.

If you have the printer icon on your Windows task bar right click on it and look at the options there, one of them may be a help window with details of how to change your cartridge.

Are you using compatibles? That could be the problem with some Epson printers. Try disconnecting the printer from the mains for 30 seconds, then replug. I have resorted to using genuine cartridges £7 each through Amazon.
