I suggest looking on the Amazon website for the model which you might be considering buying (or something similar to it) , and then clicking on 'Reviews';
I have one and really like it for laminate and tiles. Only disadvantage with mine is I keep having to use Viakal as it gets scaled up and I can't be bothered to buy the special water softener it needs.
I have a Hometek Steam Mop and I like it. It did a great job on the ceramic tiles in my old kitchen. They were cream coloured and a bu88er to keep clean.
It's my second one - the first blew up. I'd had it for a couple of years and had no receipt, even it if had been still under warranty.
Anyhoo, I phoned Hometek and explained what happened. Within three days they had sent me a new one, free of charge. I was very impressed.
Steam cleaners are brilliant for my ceramic floors, and wonderful for wall tiles. Also great for cleaning sinks and loos and other hard services. I wouldn't use them on wood though. I wouldn't be without mine. I couldn't believe, when I first used it, how much nasty build up of cleaning fluids were removed.
