Can WMP be used to burn data files to CD?

I have some pictures, word and excel files I'd like to save to CD. I have no other burning software available and cannot afford to buy any.

WMP burns music and video to CD. Windows Explorer will burn files to CD.

Cheers Skids. What do I click on to copy files?
depends if your using Windows XP, if it's 98,95 or some other version it won't work.

If it is XP just put the blank CD in drag the files into it in explorer.
If it's not XP you are using then there is lot of free burning tools here www.snapfiles.com/freeware/gmm/fwcdburn.html that might be helpful
