Brighton parking

I`ve got to go to Newhaven either Thursday or Friday and I thought I`d go via Brighton Marina for lunch. I understand there`s a free (for 4 hours) car park there. Is it easy to park to find a parking space in that car park or does it get packed because it`s free?

The car park serves all of the facilities there, which include an Asda store so (just like all Asda car parks) it can be busy at peak times but there's always someone just about to leave, so parking is usually fairly easy. (It's a multi-storey car park, with 1500 spaces. If it looks busy, just keep trying another level until you find one with spaces).

I've never had any trouble finding a space in the multi-storey car park. However don't park in the Asda car park as you have to pay to park there now.
