Afternoon everyone.
Anybody from Inverness? Or visited?
I'd like to hear some general views on the place:
What kind of town is it?
What are the people like?
Any local folklore you're aware of? Urban myths are also welcome.
Thanks in advance.

I quite like Inverness. It is a good base for travelling around to mountains etc if that is your thing.

It's not that easy, Spotit3. Stranraer and Inverness are over 250 miles apart, with the train journey involving at least 2 changes (and more usually 3) and typically taking around 7 or 8 hours. (It's not cheap either, with an off-peak return fare of £85.40).
If you're travelling from Belfast, FlyBe operate from Belfast City airport to Inverness, with return fares from around £75:
