Off-peak travel times for a London Underground TRAVEL Card
After checking the Transport for London site, I get the impression that off-peak travel times are from 9.30am onwards; in other words there are no afternoon peak times as far as using a Travel Card is concerned.
For Oyster Card users, I can see that there are afternoon peak times given, from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. but there are no afternoon peak times shown for Travel Card users. At least not on the page I viewed.
Can someone put this Wiltshire yokel in the picture?

Wiltsman - you are correct in your original understandin g. With a travelcard there is no afternoon peak. With PAYG Oyster higher fares are charged duing the afternoon peak of 1600- 1900
For confirmation go into the fares listing on the TfL site and hover over 'peak single' for the definition

Thank you Rocky, you've confirmed what I thought; that there is only a peak time in the morning for a Travel Card.
Although it doesn't matter to me, I thought I did read on the TFL site that there is an afternoon peak period for Oyster Card holders but I'm sorry, I couldn't find it again!
Thank you.
