Afternoon ladies and gents...I'm invited too a party this evening for a couple who recently re-married after a divorce.

I need a gift of some sort, not expensive but don't want to look mean either.

Anyone got any quick suggestions please.

Well I am tempted to suggest a boomerang, Cupotee....but it's nice really and I think I would buy something like a plant or a basket of bulbs if they have a garden....x

Thanks for the quick suggestion. I think I am going to nip to the local nursery and buy a flower in a basket as gness suggested.

I wouldn't be surprised if their small apartment is filled with similar tomorrow tho.

It depends what shops you can get to between now and then:

Thorntons chocolates or
Bottle of liquer or spirits or
A whole Stilton cheese and a bottle of port
A small tree or shrub
Cinema voucher

Well, was a lovely happy evening and in the end I went to Tesco on the way there and realized they sold gift cards, so bought a voucher for Cafe Rouge so they can share a meal together some time.
