I have read that it is very expensive to make and receive mobile 'phone calls and texts in Cuba. If using a pay as you go 'phone, can you be charged for incoming calls or texts made after your credit has run out?

How does one get charged for texts sent after the owners credit has run out ?

It is certainly the case that if true, they would not be the only country who screwed their numbering system up so much a caller can not tell if they are calling a fixed or mobile phone, and thus the receiver has to be charged at least the difference.
