Anyone been to Venice recently ?

We land at Marco Polo airport Monday so wondering if to book boat passes before we go or what the cheapest options are , we are staying on the island of
Giudecca so will be using the water bus service fairly frequently .

Any other tips of where to avoid price wise or where to go would be appreciated.

A 72-hour travelcard would seem to be your best option. It costs €35, plus an extra €4 each way to include travel from/to the airport:
