Prague Hotels
I'm thinking of going to Prague for my birthday in Feb. I've looked at a few hotels on Trivago and other sites, but can't tell how good they are. Can anyone recommend a decent hotel with a bar, that's within easy reach of the sights? It doesn't have to be budget, but just not silly money.

We had a 4-day break there recently, staying at the Questenberk Hotel. It hasn't got a bar but there are several cafe-bars within a very short distance, incuding the one within the monastery, where the monks brew their own beer!
In fact, the hotel was part of the monastery - which is, of course, one of the "sights" - originally. Excellent accommodation and staff, great views down to the city, away from the throngs of tourists, close to the castle and a tram-line, so easy to get to places. Not cheap, but thoroughly recommended.
If you go, have dinner at the Little Blue Duck, just round the corner from the Lennon Wall. Good luck!

We stayed here a couple of years ago, it's about three minutes walk from the Astronomical Clock and an easy walk down to the Charles Bridge then up to the Castle area. You can walk up to the Wencelesas Square in about 15 minutes. The address looks mad so it's the Hotel Rott if the link doesn't work.
