I am off to Fuengirola, Spain in 10 days time. Can anyone please explain the new "Holiday Tax"
and whether I'll have to pay it on arrival, if so how much. Many thanks.

I haven't heard that Fuengirola has applied this. But in Barcelona they add it to your hotel bill.
Fuengerola isn't in the Balearics though so I am not sure there will be a tax unless there is a local tax- some resorts apply them
Who said there will/might be one?
Used to be 10 Euro when leaving Ireland. Not sure if it's still in place.
Was that passenger air fuel duty though, ummmm?
No - it was a rejuvenation fee.
Would have been a bargain at £100 ummmm!.
I just think crackernut was referring to the Spanish holiday tax
Don't think the tourist tax applies on the Costa Del Sol. It didn't last year anyway.
