Very Scary Experience - Government Gateway Identity

Had to scan my driving licence and take a 'selfie' on the Government Gateway to prove my identity.

The scan of my face made my face look grey, full or wrinkles, creases, saggy and baggy.  I am now too frightened to look in the mirror.

Anyone used that service?

No...but maybe it's time for fillers, lip plumpers, Botox, face lift, eye bag removal, and a spray tan so you can still look in the mirror to comb your hair..oh wait, a hair transplant too! 😉

Yes but I didn't have to do any of that. I use the web based site though.

One the plus side, if you look nearly dead you might get a cheap insurance deal 🫤

I used the website too, on my PC.  It told me I had to take scans using my smartphone, then I continued on my PC.

There is a plus side to everything, Gromit.  If you have ever seen The Fall Guy episode of Still Game, the scan made me look like the 'after' in that episode.

after chemo I  looked in the mirror and thought christ no wonder people think I am gonna die in the next 35 mins
