Puerto Pollensa is lovely, take a look at www.puertopollensa.com for lots of info. Whilst I agree that an essential part of holidaying abroad is to sample the local food, I think that "falky" probably wants to set themselves up for the day on a filling breakfast, so then free to explore without having to think about food until the evening. Continental breakfast doesn't really do anything for me either but really appreciate the diversity in choice of main meals in the evening.
