Hello, in 2 years i am going to be travelling to australia and new zelaand... but i was wondering what is the cheapest way to get from australia to new zealand... should i book a separate flight .. or i read that i could book the flight as part of flying from london to sydney and then home from wellington to sydney, so i could book it in the middle... would that be cheaper as im trying to keep the costs down... cheers
I've just booked for April next year London- Sydney & Los Angeles - London and British Airways was cheapest with Virgin close behind. Everyone else was several hundred pounds more.
If you are not going for two years then I think you have time to ask a few travel agents. You can't book more than 12 months (sometimes 11) in advance.
not really any point in planning the fine details this early, there may be more budget airlines and lower prices in two years. You may well be able to book it as part of a round the world package, or do it separately on something like Virgin Blue
but leave it until closer to the time. (Remember however that the northern winter is their high season, so prices will be higher then and seats harder to find.)
Check out flights to Australia with companys like austravel as they link into a great choice of operators. for internal flights in Australia, look at the websites for Jetstar or Virgin Blue as they are the Oz type of airlines like easyjet & ryanair
