Passport expiry and travel

I am planning to travel to Tenerife in february for a week.. My passport expires in mid march (after I return). Am I ok to travel with this passport, or does it need to have a longer date of expiry (which means renewing it)

You will be fine - for Spain your passport just needs to be valid.
