Nearest airpot to Fort St John, Canada?

What airport is the nearest to Fort St John in British Columbia, Canada? I have3 been advised to fly to Calgary or edmonton but these are approx 600 miles away. I cant seem to find a closer airport listed or even if there is one in Fort St John. Not that it should make a difference but i would be flying from either london or manchester.Thanks in advance.

Having flown in and out of there often, I can report that North Peace Airport, serving St. John is a very nice airport served by at least two airlines (to my recollection) with limited but adequate service from Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver...

Thanks to you both, struggling to find cheap flights. Can get to calgary from manchester for �480 but to get from manchester to Fort St John (with connections) is �1700. huge difference for 600 miles. Can you recommend a cheap flight site?

i guess thats just because you dont get cheap flights going to out of the way places - after all if it was a popular place, then the prices would no doubt come down. have you thought about flying to calgary then getting there some other way if prie is important to you?
