had anyone been to eidfjord and what is there to do there , going as part of a cruise in july also has anyone been to akureyri iceland.

Eidfjord is a village, with a population of under 1000. So you'll probably be restricted to visiting the local tourist sites. They include the V�rinfossen waterfall

and the power plant which is built into the mountain.

Akureyri is the second largest town in Iceland but, by UK standards, it's still small. (Population = 17,200. About the size of a small market town in the UK). You can find out what it has to offer, here:
