Didn't have any problems at all in fact the staff hated them so much we got extra special treatment !! I was amazed though to see children being smacked hard for no reason ( Maybe that's why they are so unpopular as the Turkish people love little ones.)
I was in Sharm el Sheik last year and it was full of Russians who I have to say for the most part were quite aggressive and rude and I am a very well travelled person and never met that before - I have never had issues with Germans and have spent time back packing with lots of Germans.
Just came back from Dahab in Egypt and there were hardly any Russians at all apparently they had a lot of builders from Russia in Egypt and possibly Turkey which could explain why they are there - there were problems at the buffet at breakfast with the Russians being quite dominant but that was a minority you should never judge a whole country by a minority I have been away and seen lots of awful British people more often and over more countries!
