For a change fancy Slovenia - anyone been? Any tips?

Ljubljana is small but a very pretty city. There's a very short coastline with just a couple of towns on it. Up in the mountains, Lake Bled is beautiful - it has a small island in the middle with a church on it, and a castle on a cliff on the shoreline. Very pretty green countryside - if you fancy going in winter I gather you can ski almost down to the aiport, but I haven't tried it.

In addition the caves at Postojna are world-renown.

There is also a castle at Predjama, Postonja - an attraction that rivals both the caves and Bled.
