Chambre de Bonne, France

Hi, i’m moving to Paris this year and am hoping to rent a cheap (400 EUROS/ Month…) Chambre de Bonne somewhere in the city. I’ve scoured the internet etc but have been unable to find a good source for authentic, rustic spaces.

Apart from day trip-ing to search physically, does anyone know of a good way to go about finding such accomodation?

I don't know that you'll find anything rustic in the middle of a city. There seem to plenty of immobilier sites offering them, complete with photos, which presumably you've checked. If they don't suit, then perhaps a personal visit will be required.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. When I said "in the city", it doesn't need to be central. Any arrondisment would do.

Instead of searching chambre de bonne, try googling studio meublé you'll get more choice.
