transfer from Ibiza airport to San Antonio
Hi there, can anyone advise re best option for transfer from Ibiza Airport to San Antonio? Looking online it looks as if it would only be a few euros more expensive to get a taxi than using a shared transfer which would normally end up a much longer journey. The only thing is though that I have seen it can be difficult getting taxis at this time of year, very long queues etc. Does anyone have any experience of this - many thanks

Failing that I think a taxi would be better, ask price first as they are now set prices, from Sta Eulalia to airport 20kms it was 33€, but will be more after midnite. The shared transit bus (not holiday co?) are not always reliable and do not always go where they are supposed to.
The direct bus (route 9) runs every 90 minutes from 0745 to 0015 until the end of September. (Until the end of August the service continues until 0315 and there are also extra buses, providing a service every 45 minutes, between 1945 and 0015):

The taxi tariff is here:

Based upon that, the taxi fare would probably be in the region of €30 to €35 (assuming a journey of around 25km to San Antonio Bay).
If you're thinking of getting a taxi, it might be worth noting the phone number on that web page, so that you can call a cab if there's not one on the rank.
Being a skinflint, I'd save money by taking a metered cab, which looks to be cheaper than any of the pre-booked deals available on the web.

I thought I would just come back and note on here that I had a lovely time in Ibiza and if anyone else it wondering for future and comes across this thread it is 27 euros from the airport to San Antonio - there is a quite detailed price list at the taxi queue at the airport for all the resorts so you know what you are going to have to pay before you get in.
