Bristol A370 Closure

Driving to Bristol airport I take the A4 then the A3029 then the A38, I have heard the Long Aston bypass is due to be closed. Would that effect me when I reach the roundabout Ashton Gate FC A3029/A370

Almost certainly. With the bypass out traffic will take other routes and snarl the whole basin area up. Allow lots of extra time.

Should say that's just my opinion. Use highway info from Web to see how it progresses.

I always go to Bristol Airport via Barrow Gurney...not sure if this is still open. Why is the A370 closed ?

they are resurfacing and repairing the Yanley viaduct, your best bet is to go past ashton gate (Bristol city fc) keeping to the left hand lane, you will see KFC, Pc world just past the football ground, follow this road and go straight on at the first mini roundabout which will take you to sainsburys, youwill come to another mini roundabout, go straight on and shortly after take the right hand lane at the traffic lights (a slight hill/incline) go through the light and get to the right hand lane there will be a set of lights just before the road gos to the right....... keep to the right and the road bends to the right and gos up a hill as you go up the hill get to the left hand lane and follow the signs for the A38 Bristol airport, its pretty much sign posted all the way once you go past the football ground, .......how do i know this I live 7 miles from the airport and 2 miles from ashton gate.
