Holiday Suggestions For Young Couple Travelling From Belfast (Or Dublin) Airport
Ok, need recommendations for a (cheap) week's holiday or short break for young couple, mid 20's. Don't drink, not huge clubbing fans either, so don't want usual "tacky" resort, would like a nice hotel, possibly with spa, beach nearby, some nice, but not expensive restaurants and afternoon tea, nice things to do during the day, good transport links. Travelling from Dublin or Belfast airport, so would love if someone in a similar position could recommend somewhere nice. Can speak French, have done usual French cities (but no problem going back), Morocco etc, so open to suggestions... please....

I just came back from a week in Cape Verde. All inclusive, beautiful white beach, spa, several restaurants serving different cuisines and temperatures in the 30s. We paid around £750 each and all meals, snacks and drinks were included.

I love Alicante. Been there a number of times and never tire of it. Loads of flights, - because of Benidorm - but Alicante is a traditional Spanish town. The old centre is full of interesting bars and restaurants, a fantastic castle overlooking the town, nice tree-lined walks and shady plazas, easy bus ride from the airport, a tram ride to other spots up the coast such Villajoyosa (takes about an hour), a busy working marina, good beaches. Worthing investigating.
Thank you everyone, haven't been on computer much today. Well cheap... is a student's budget. At the moment I am confined mostly to school holidays, as that's my part time work, so I know that limits my choices at budget prices. I have been in London, Cannes, Lyon, Paris, Morocco, Grenoble... as well as spa hotel breaks.. so love a nice place, lots to do but without the drinking and clubbing scene. Thanks to the person who recommended Travelzoo, we had never heard of it, but we are signed up to other deal websites. Loving all the ideas from everyone, thanks for taking the time to respond.
