I'm filling out an online passport( US ) renewal form. Everything comes up as uppercase...whether on my tablet, or on a pc( at the library ).
This isn't a problem...except for my email address. I've also supplied a phone number for contact, but I'm worried about the email address. There is no way to get an answer...quickly. ( I had a query a few weeks ago, and it was more than a week before I had a response).
Any idea if this is a major problem?

You may try writing the email address elsewhere, in lowercase, and copy and pasting iti to the form.

Ah...I hadn't thought of that. I'll give it a try.
It won't matter will it Pasta. Everyone knows you do emails in lower case.

It's probably ok.
If any mistakes are made or incomplete info provided, it's not possible to move through the form. The email addy didnt get flagged up.
Technically speaking the bit after the @ is case insensitive so you can use upper or lower. Before the @ is actually case sensitive but almost all email services treat it as case insensitive so your email address will be fine.
I've never come across an email address that's case-sensitive.
@diddlydo, this is why I pointed out that 'technically' it is, pretty well every mail server treats them as case insensitive but the specification is actually for case sensitive before the domain. Just mentioned as a point of interest
