I wonder if anyone has been in touch with Ryanair regarding a refund of a return flight. I have been on to them by online chat for a refund on a return flight where the outbound flight has been cancelled and there is no alternative that day or the one after. The return flight is still available but I can no longer get into the booking - blocked/not recognised. I have been told I am getting a refund ("very busy, confirmation may take a while") but it is at this stage not clear to me what is being refunded - it is not categorically stated that both out and return are being refunded. Has anyone been through the full process on something like this to at least the e-mail confirmation or even actual payment ?
I think Simon Calder the travel expert said the refund options have been removed in both Ryan Air and BA which is shocking ,he stressed you ARE entitled to a full refund though , just keep trying to get through and insist you want your refund
I am told I will get a refund, but as I said, while I am expecting a refund of both outward and return, it is not clear that that is the case as opposed to only the cancelled outward being refunded - both out and back were on a single booking.
i have just got my latest bank statement in the post,
ryanair have refunded my money for our return flights to pisa and back we were due to fly out on the 7th april.
